I have had to fight hard to be an expert in the English language. While I have loved storytelling and the craft of writing since I was small, I haven't always been a straight-A student and have had to work diligently to overcome various learning obstacles. This means not only do I have a strong handle on writing now, I know what it's like to struggle.
